Montis Media • New Visual Identity

This one was fun. I worked with Mark Faure to build a new visual identity for his brand, Montis Media.
Mark’s been doing sports photography and videography in the Edmonton area and wanted a brand that reflects where he’s at now. The logo features a mountain inside the shape of a camera lens. It’s designed to feel like you’re looking straight through the lens. The color palette uses summit green, rich greens, and earthy browns to bring that outdoor, grounded feel to life.
Montis comes from the Latin word for mountain. The name connects back to where Mark’s journey started, taking photos in the mountains of Chilliwack with his daughter. It gave the brand a deeper meaning and helped everything click into place.
Clean, simple, and rooted in his story.
