A brand identity project for Statsyuk, designed to balance elite athletic performance with modern sports technology. The goal was to create a timeless, digital first mark that could scale beyond hockey while remaining rooted in performance and analytics.

Overview
Statsyuk is a hockey performance analytics platform built to help elite youth and collegiate players develop smarter using data, AI, and modern technology. The goal of this project was to create a visual identity that felt intelligent, athletic, and tech forward while remaining timeless and scalable beyond a single sport.
The brand needed to work across digital platforms, social media, and future product experiences, without relying on literal or short term visual trends.



The Design
The final identity centers around a highly simplified Arctic fox paw print. Rather than using a literal mascot face, the paw acts as an abstract symbol that represents the fox without locking the brand into a fixed expression or style.
The icon is clean, geometric, and scalable, designed to function seamlessly as an app icon, social avatar, and digital mark at small sizes. The shape is intentionally minimal, allowing the brand to feel modern and refined while remaining instantly recognizable.






The Strategy
The strategy behind this identity was to prioritize longevity and flexibility.
Rather than designing a logo that explains exactly what Statsyuk does at first glance, the focus was placed on recognition, memorability, and scalability. This approach allows the brand to grow beyond hockey in the future without needing to rebrand or reset visual equity.
By keeping the core logo abstract, the identity leaves room for UI, motion, content, and product design to communicate functionality and features. This gives the in product experience space to evolve while the logo remains consistent and recognizable over time.
Outcome
The final identity provides Statsyuk with a strong foundation that can scale across platforms, sports, and future product developments. It balances athletic energy with technological precision, positioning the brand as a modern performance platform built for the next generation of athletes.
